Girrakool is a small, intimate festival with a fantastic lineup of talent. Some of the best from OZ & always 1 or 2 internationals. The versatile pricing structure allows for 1, 2 or 3 day passes & the price for 3 days is more than reasonable. Its a breeze to park, (or camp) with all of the parking no more than 100 metres from the Big Top....which is another attraction, providing shelter from the baking sun, or the torrential rain, one never knows what one will get with the weather on the Central Coast. :) Basically, walk in, unfold your chair, (leave it there for 3 days, no one will touch it!) & be totally blown away by amazing talent & a bloody nice crowd as well. 😁

Bands and sound quality outstanding. Friendly environment where everyone looks out for each other and play nicely. Polite. Not seen an idiot there yet! Food in 2019 was exceptional. Less food choice this year but found one that suited my diet requirements. Thanks Hayley Lauren Mast

Such a great festival. Getting better every year ! Love the laid back atmosphere and the free camping. It’s an annual event for us and our growing group. Love seeing the hosts enjoying it too. Well done guys !

Girrakool getting bigger and better every year. Brilliant relaxed atmosphere in the camping area and festival grounds. Highlights were Derek Nash and Ben Waters who were just a class act and as always 19-Twenty who just kill it every time they perform.

Loved the whole Girrakool Festival, but I specifically came to watch/hear Gambirra MOB. It was my first Festival and I was so impressed with everything; the Welcome to Country, the Aboriginal dancers, the fire and poi twirlers, all of the performers/musicians, the food stalls and the atmosphere for everyone to join in - thank you to the Organisers.

The venue is perfect and the line-up world class. I loved all the acts, but Ben Nash and Derek Waters were unbelievable and, as a harp player myself, I can't go past Aki Kumar and Ian Collard (and of course Andy).

The whole package! Ease of access, ease of camping, vigilant yet relaxed security, great bands, plenty of room to move, great activities for children and adults alike. Can't knock it!

The fantastic line up of music. The fact it is help under a massive marquee so rain doesn't stop play.Being able to walk around the beautiful gardens each morning before the music starts.

Girrakool, the most relaxed, well organised, with talented performers, friendly staff and great camping facilities at Mount Penang Gardens with the bonus of a BBQ extravaganza. Steve Edmonds absolutely rocked as did Ben Waters and Derek Nash. All the acts were top class but I think one of the best things about Girakool was the chilled and friendly atmosphere over all three days. What a fantastic festival!!

Great Festival Again Alissa and Bruce. Whether it was the Great musical acts, the Winners of the BBQ Categories(Chicken, Pork ribs, Lamb or Brisket) The Soul Kitchen was a Hit with the Best Gumbo, Empanadas were a hit, All natural Ice Creams, Mexican Soft Drinks and the other Food vendors. The Volunteer team were great Again. Thank you for your Efforts. Bring on 2020

Love going to girrakool every year thanks to Bruce and Alissa we get to enjoy this great little music festival close to home. The big marquee covers all types of weather for heat or rain..the food was particularly nice this year with a interesting variety to choose from catering to all diets. Well stocked bar.. clean amenities..friendly crowd. Thanks for keeping the blues alive Bruce and Alissa and all the hard work you do to make it happen ❤
