Catfish Soup

Member(s): 5

About the band:

Catfish Soup have been playing venues between Port Stephens and Sydney for around 10 years,
We usually play a mix of originals and covers and tailor set lists for the expected crowd – anywhere from Casual Country to Raucous Rock – but always with a foot in the Blues. Lots of gigs – lots of happy punters. Biker shows, Birthdays, Beer Halls and Ballrooms – we’ve done the lot. We’ve shared the stage at times with some of the luminaires of Oz Blues (Bondi Cigars / Mason Rack) and played the Sydney Blues festival a couple of times. We’ve not vetured to the central coast for a while and would love the chance to start your groovy festival off with a bang!

About the band:

Adam Jones has been an original solo singer/songwriter/guitarist for many years, and he released his debut solo album with full band provided by studio musicians in September 2017. The album, which was recorded with Foghorn Records in Sydney, has been distributed to all major download/streaming online sites and also CD albums with full colour booklet, photos and lyrics are available with about 100 selling so far. Adam writes a blend of blues, rock, folk and country rock and he is known for his strong and deep voice and dynamic live performance. In April 2018 Adam met and subsequently teamed up with David ‘Slide’ Milligan, a talented local singer songwriter guitarist and lap steel slide guitarist who released his solo EP in 2016. Together with Mat Tioke on bass guitar and Colin Gilmour on drums, Adam and Slide have quickly become a tight and entertaining act that should bring the crowd alive and get them up dancing. NFI

Member(s): 5

About the band:

NFI was formed back in 2016 by Andy Dodd and Peter Wark, after Andy had returned from living in the UK for 4 years. Andy and Peter had formed a part of the local covers band Stonefish and played together until Andy’s move overseas.
Returning to Australia in 2015, he teamed back up with his friend and former band member Peter Wark. Andy and Pete soon realised that they wanted a change in direction and started following their dream of writing original music.
With the music always coming first, Andy and Pete have been carving out tunes with an original style, blending a feel of Atmospheric Indie Groove Rock with meaningful lyrics and a little hint of punk from time to time, to keep it interesting.
Bringing in another former Stonefish band member Craig Thomlinson, with his smooth and clever bass lines. Dylan Boor then joined in, supplying with own brand of versatile, interesting and powerful guitar. Dave Rowe has now added his unique and experienced technique completing the line up on drums and NFI are now ready to share their work with you.
