The Girrakool Blues stage will be operating at the following times:

  • Friday 3 March – 5-10pm
  • Saturday 4 March – 10am-10pm
  • Sunday 5 March – 10am-8pm

Girrakool Blues Festival is held at The Memorial Park, The Entrance, on the Central Coast NSW.

The festival site is not large enough for any camping facilities this year, however there are some camping grounds nearby.

There are many accommodation options, some of them can be found here, or at the Visit Central Coast website.


Yes, there will be a bar located on site within the Memorial Park.

No, unfortunately you cannot bring your own alcohol, however, there is a bar you can buy drinks from.

General Festival Info

The festival is non-ticketed and free for everyone to enjoy.

Girrakool Blues will implement covid safety measures inline with the current health regulations required at the time. We are committed to ensuring everyone’s safety without compromising the relaxed atmosphere we are known for.

Girrakool Blues is a family friendly, all ages event, where everyone is welcome!

Yes, chairs are allowed at the Memorial Park stage.

The current NSW smoke-free laws ban smoking and using e-cigarettes in certain outdoor public areas including within 10 metre of children’s play equipment, 4 metres of a pedestrian access point to a public building and commercial outdoor dining areas.

Yes, the Memorial park has plenty of public toilets and disabled toilets. There are also toilets along the esplanade as well as in venues, cafes and restaurants.

The event will be go ahead no matter the weather, unless deemed dangerous or risking public safety by the organisers or Council. If this is the case, we will keep you up to date on Facebook or through the festival app event.

As the event is held within a public space, the local laws apply, however we recommend you leave your pets at home due to expected large crowds and the loud music that may upset or frighten our furry friends.

Yes, the Memorial Park is all one level, with paved pathways to easily access the park.

Kids & families

Girrakool Blues is a family friendly, all ages event, where everyone is welcome!

Sunday is our family fun day with circus activities and other family orientated activities, including aboriginal basking weaving. Please check out all the activities by downloading our app here.

There is also a playground, a water playground, and fairground rides at the park, however they are not run by the festival and will have their own conditions of entry.

The Memorial Park bar will be only accessible to adults 18 years and over. Unfortunately, children under this age even with an adult will not be able to enter this bar area.

Children may be able to enter other participating venues, however it may best to talk to them directly to avoid any disappointment.
