The Specialties have been captivating audiences across the East Coast with their electrifying performances. Despite their relatively short career, they’ve already received eight nominations in the past two years, including Favourite Blues Band and Favourite Emerging Act at the Sydney Blues Awards.
With a unique spin on classic Blues, Jazz, Rockabilly, and Soul, the band features some of Sydney’s finest musicians. At the forefront is Shannon Carswell, whose exceptional voice is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful in the country.
In just under two years, The Specialties have quickly risen to prominence, performing at some amazing festivals and supporting some of the nation’s top acts.
